What you need to know...In 2010 Promise Place provided intervention services to 1,892 victims of Domestic Violence within the Griffin Judicial Circuit; Fayette 947; Spalding 508; Pike 183 and Upson 254 clients were served. In addition Promise Place provided shelter to 395 women and children 50% coming from Fayette, Spalding, Pike and Upson Counties, with the other half coming from Newnan, Henry and Clayton Counties. Promise Place serves as a much needed “undisclosed” safe haven for those experiencing violence in their home. Promise Place is a 501(c) 3 non profit organization and depends on the funding from the communities we serve to continue to do the work we do for those so desperately in need.

Promise Place provides the following for victims of domestic violence in our community: crisis intervention, weekly support groups, 24-hour emergency crisis hotline, emergency shelter, legal
advocacy, assistance in filing temporary protective orders, children's services and teen dating violence prevention program.
